Camp Ministry
Way
out west life is great, especially when there are some really tremendous
Christian camps for young people to attend. Fruita Faith has utilized three
different camps.
Treasure Mountain Bible Camp in breath taking Marble, CO (pictured at left) is not only one of the most beautiful camps in the country, but also one of the most kid-friendly ones. Campers get to sleep in tee-pees, go for hay rides up the mountain, and take thrill-rides down the "superslide" into a melted glacier. It's the stuff of which memories are made! Fruita Faith has also taken advantage of TMBC's men's and teen retreats. The Word of God is always preached with power in TMBC 's unique "chapel by the creek" and many people over the years have come to Christ as a result.
Camp Utibica (Utah Independent
Bible Camp) in the Ephraim Canyon of Central Utah has more to
offer than can be mentioned here. Horseback riding, horsemanship, survival
training, archery, climbing, and riflery are a few. To the right some of our
juniors are preparing to head out to Camp Utibica for a week for fun and
spiritual challenge that will change their lives forever. They will enjoy
excellent Bible preaching and teaching in a beautiful and comfortable chapel
and be guided by trained and godly counselors who genuinely love them. They
will return home with memories that will be with them for the rest of their
lives.
The Three Sevens (3 7s) Ranch near Ferron, UT is a truly unique place. It's a working ranch where boys and girls can get away from the pressures of everyday life and be confronted with Bible truth "up close and personal." 3 7s also hosts yearly counseling conferences and "cowboy poetry" retreats that Fruita Faith has been privileged to attend.
