                                                      Roger A. Cooper, B. A., M. Div., Senior Pastor

The Coopers came to Fruita in 1989 from Whitewater, Wisconsin where Roger worked as the director of Junior Ministries at Camp Joy.  Both he and Doris earned their B. A. degrees from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College. Roger then earned an M. Div. from Central Baptist Theological Seminary in 1972. Besides working in Christian camping he pastored in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois. Both he and Doris have worked extensively with children in churches, Christian camps, and Christian schools. The Coopers have two children and six grandchildren.

 

Andy Paruch, B. A., M. A., Assistant Pastor

Andy and his wife, Kim, are originally from the Grand Valley and both attended Bob Jones University. Andy earned his BA in youth ministry and coaching, and his MA in pastoral studies. Kim earned her BA in children’s ministries. Andy has served as youth pastor in Florida and Pennsylvania, and he and Kim have extensive experience in children’s work serving in AWANA Clubs and junior church programs.
